ART IS SUICIDAL
death is the girl you secretly admire; the other woman, the forbidden affection; an affair. and life, life is the wrong turn you made the other night; the moment a drowsy stranger ‘wrong-numbered’ you over the phone/death is when the last train emerges from a black tunnel; life, the passing hours, the waiting/death — is the name of that person whose name you keep forgetting; the man who is sitting there over there; ‘what’s his name, again?’ you ask. life is always the day after yesterday, the day before tomorrow: sunday or tuesday, it doesn’t matter, wednesday will always be monday, and thursday is just another way of saying friday, or saturday/death is insanity’s plausibility; life, sanity’s improbability.
